A message from the Director of Dr Williams’s Library"In this day and age all institutions need supporters and there is no doubt that specialised libraries need them more than most. In a world where libraries are competing for limited resources, we need our Friends to proclaim the importance of the work we do. I know when seeking support for Dr Williams’s Library from grant making bodies and other institutions how important it is to be able to point to a body of Friends for evidence of wider support for the Library. Many readers benefit from using the Library, in many cases without charge. I ask you to consider helping the Library by becoming a Friend.
